Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Anom.
In most matches this is the best pet to start the fight with since Toxic Fumes buffs the other two pets. Anomalus' strength lies within the great synergies of it's own abilities. Toxic Fumes has a huge value; it is a buff to almost every other ability in this team. Once this weather is active you should apply Poison Protocol. After that you could swap to one of the other pets if you think you can bring Anomalus back in later and use this combo again.

Puncture Wound will always trigger when Toxic Fumes is up. Both abilities in the first slot deal fairly similar damage, but since the dot from Barbed Stinger gets buffed by Toxic Fumes I'd take this for the sake of the team's theme.

Often times you could also start with this pet. It doesn't rely on the weather to be powerful and if your opponent has no counter against it right at the beginning it will deal significant damage to the enemy team and punishes swapping. Puncture Wound can be used before Poison Fang when the weather is active. If it's not try to maintain Poison Fang on the active enemy pet and follow it up with Pheromones. Sometimes you'd want to time Puncture Wound to hit when your beast racial is active.
