Trunks' main ability has a 50% hit chance, but it doesn't have to hit very many times to be effective. I wrote the strat and the script using Servant of Demidos as the 3rd pet. Finally worked for me after using Arcane Blast with Brightpaw. I was switching to the "goo" pet before Brightpaw died, after Star Tail died. If that makes sense. After Star Tail, hit Needlenose with as many Arcane Blast as Brightpaw can muster, then proceed with "goo" turns.

Exactly this. If you hard swap to Oily Slimling without Brightpaw dying, Oily Sliming loses to Needlenose no matter what. The strat works well if this change is made.

Agreed. If you quit if you get crit or stunned on round one with brightpaw. then keep brightpaw in to use Arcane blast 9I got lucky and got two off before it died) then this strategy should work.

I used this strat as a basis to get it done. however, it was wildly different at turn 3 with Oily sliming dyeing. At that point, swap back to brightpaw, Use arcane blast to finish off the current pet, next opponent pet comes prowl then arcane dash just like the first step and it a win. (edited)

Had crit against Brightpaw on Turn 1 as soon as we started, then lvl 21 Blue HP Wicker was able to finished it. This is solid strat.
