At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

This strat worked just fine in 9.0+.

TURBOKillex

wrote on 2020-06-02 00:50:07

I made a modified version of this strat using Explode instead of Supercharge on the Starlette, thanks to an idea I got trying Daniel's comment. I've tested it 5x with a P/P and H/P Starlette and never had it fail or take longer than 9 turns.

Starlette: Wind Up > Wind Up > Explode
Bring in Crispin
Crispin: Nut Barrage > Woodchipper > Nut Barrage
Bring in Tonk during Undead Round
Tonk: Shock and Awe > Ion Cannon

I've written a script as well.

change(Darkmoon Tonk:338) [enemy(Scars:2339).aura(Undead:242).exists]
ability(Explode:282) [round=3]
ability(Nut Barrage:167)
ability(Ion Cannon:209) [enemy(#3).hp<1099]
ability(Shock and Awe:646) [enemy(#3).active]
ability(#1)
change(next)

Daniel wrote on 2020-05-21 15:59:27

better starter is mechanical axebeak. Haywire, alpha strike to finish the first pet, decoy then swap to crispin.

TURBOKillex

wrote on 2020-06-02 00:14:03

I tried this, but I found just skipping Decoy was much better. Scars always strike with Bonestorm! when he can, so you immediately lose the decoy and Crispin doesn't get swapped out safely. You're better to just swap Crispin in immediately

change(Darkmoon Tonk:338) [enemy(Scars:2339).aura(Undead:242).exists]

I dunno if I would recommend it. It can be faster, but there isn't much you can do to keep Crispin alive reliably if you're swapping him out over letting the Axebeak die

Null312#1760

wrote on 2020-03-02 10:01:04

Worked liked a charm, did it 3 times just now and one time didn't need the second pet, got lucky with crits and the abilities scars used so Iron Starlette was able to finish him before dying.

Ted wrote on 2019-12-08 11:20:47

Tried this 5 times, did not work.

Gráinne

wrote on 2019-12-08 12:06:40

For anyone to look into it, you need to tell us HOW it didn't work.

What breed of Starlette did you use? Where did your battle deviate from the strat?

Papaken wrote on 2020-02-01 12:08:07

I just did it 5 times with 5 toons and it worked every time.

Geki wrote on 2019-08-11 14:44:04

If your Starlette is P/P breed you can wind up, powerball, wind up to finish off the first pet, and save supercharge for the second one.

Great strategy! Worked like a charm!
Upvoted the strat! ♥

P.S.: I used Menagerie Custodian instead of Tonk, I don't have the latter, but "required" abilities are the same

You might want to add a pass on the undead round. My Menagerie Custodian was brought in for that round and the script kuses Shock and Awe against Scars.

(OP) Threewolves

wrote on 2019-06-26 01:39:33

Thanks for your comment. I adjusted the script to only use Shock and Awe vs. enemy #3.
